GKH Recruitment are currently looking for a flexible HGV1 Day Driver to work between various contracts across Willenhall/Wednesbury/Walsall. Deliveries are on standard curtain side trailers, you will be expected to open the curtains and check that the load is strapped correctly, there is however no handball. Start times are typically between 05.00-08.00.

We have a couple of contracts in the area and if we have a worker who is willing to work between clients, we will be in a position to guarantee 5 shifts a week. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, minimum 8 hours per shift. The rate of pay is £18.00 pay per hour inclusive of holiday across all contracts. We can accept both full time and part time applicants for this role.

Due to restrictions within our insurance policy applicants must have held their HGV licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 endorsement points. Also, we cannot accept applicant with DD, DR or IN convictions.

A Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card are both essential for this role.
